About Me

Constantly living in a world of her own making, Gracie fell in love with the power of storytelling at a young age. She devoured novels, wandered through magical worlds, and found endless possibilities between the pages of a book. At nine years old, she wrote her first children's book and today, she is working to bring those stories to life as real, published books.

That childhood love of storytelling grew into a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing for New Media, a minor in Literature, and a deepening passion for children's books and the publishing world. Today, Gracie works as an elementary school library media technician, where she has the joy of watching young readers discover stories of their own. She has seen firsthand how the right book can make a child laugh, spark their imagination, give them a place to belong, or inspire them to become a reader for life.

As a writer and aspiring children's author, Gracie is fascinated by everything that happens between an idea and a finished book. She loves the process of shaping stories, refining language, discovering what makes a character unforgettable, and ultimately helping a story find the reader who needs it.

Her goal is to build a career in children's publishing where she can contribute to that process, whether through writing, editorial work, or helping bring wonderful books into the hands of young readers.
